“WasteLandscape” A Landscape of 65,000 CDs

Project named: “WasteLandscape” is made by creative artist Elise Morin and architect Clemence Eliard. The “WasteLandscape” consists of 65,000 old CDs that are gathered from recycle waste and gone through a creativity treatment, giving an impression of rising and falling waves on 500 square meters.

The exhibition’s site is “Halle d’Aubervilliers” of Paris CENTQUATRE, durable from 21st of July to the 10th of September this year.
Artist says:
made of petroleum, this reflecting slick of CDs forms a still sea of metallic dunes;
the artwork’s monumental scale reveals the precious aspect of a small daily object.
Before transforming these CDs completely in to polycarbonate, ‘wastelandscape’ exhibition will be held in different localities.
